Acceptable Use Policy
This policy protects YardMate users, marketplace participants and the Service. It forms part of the Terms of Service. You are responsible for activity under your account and for ensuring that your users follow this policy.
You must not use YardMate to
- break the law, infringe another person's rights, evade sanctions or facilitate fraud, bribery, money laundering or deceptive business practices;
- harass, threaten, discriminate against or exploit another person;
- submit content you do not have a right or lawful basis to use, including confidential, copyrighted or personal data;
- upload malware, malicious scripts or files designed to disrupt, damage or gain unauthorised access;
- probe, scan or test vulnerabilities without YardMate's prior written permission, bypass access controls, or access another user's account or data;
- send spam, unsolicited bulk messages, misleading RFQs, fraudulent quotations or content unrelated to legitimate business activity;
- scrape, harvest or systematically extract platform or member data except through an expressly authorised feature;
- interfere with service availability, impose unreasonable load, manipulate usage limits or resell access without permission;
- submit special-category personal data, criminal-offence data, payment-card data, passwords or government identity documents unless YardMate has expressly agreed to that processing;
- misrepresent your identity, organisation, authority, certifications, products, services or the origin of content.
Marketplace conduct
Requests and offers must be genuine, sufficiently accurate and made by authorised representatives. You must respect confidentiality and any non-disclosure obligations, conduct appropriate due diligence and comply with procurement, competition, tax, export-control and employment rules that apply to your transaction.
Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations and remove content, limit functionality, suspend accounts or terminate access where reasonably necessary. We may preserve or disclose information when required by law or necessary to protect people, the Service or legal rights. Where practical and safe, we will give notice and an opportunity to correct a violation.
Report a concern
Report suspected abuse or security issues through our contact form. Do not include passwords, recovery codes or unnecessary sensitive data in your report.
