- Authorization keeps you signed in securely.
- X-CSRF-Token protects forms and account actions against forged requests when that protection is enabled.
- Signup-Session preserves a signup attempt while contact details are verified.
- MFAChallenge preserves a short-lived multi-factor authentication challenge.
Your cookie choice
yardmate-cookie-consent records “accepted” or “rejected” for one year so the notice does not repeatedly appear. This preference contains no personal identifier and is not used for tracking.
Local browser storage
Some editing and marketplace features save interface preferences or unsent form drafts in local or session storage. This information remains in your browser and is used only to restore the feature you were using.
reCAPTCHA
When enabled, the signup page loads Google reCAPTCHA to protect registration from automated abuse. Google may process browser and device information for that security purpose. It is not loaded by the general pages of this site.
Contact-form abuse protection
The Contact Us form uses a self-hosted, privacy-preserving proof-of-work challenge, one-time security tokens and rate limits. Verification happens on YardMate infrastructure without advertising profiles, tracking cookies or requests to an external CAPTCHA provider. Source IP addresses and browser identifiers are retained with submitted messages for security review.
You can remove cookies and local data at any time using your browser settings. Removing authentication or workflow cookies may sign you out or clear unfinished work.
